The Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization as determined by the Internal Revenue Service. It is directed by a volunteer board that sets the goals for the foundation. Much of its work centers on funding teacher grant applications that are not covered by the regular school budget for projects which benefit students in the classroom. Special projects and academic programs have benefited numerous students over the past twenty-two years.
The Mission Statement reads “The Warren Arts and Education Foundation provides opportunities and recognition for students, staff and community participating in activities relating to education and the arts.”
The Vision Statement reads “The lives of children should have limitless potential. They are eager to learn, filled with wonder, alive to each new experience, enriched by the gifts that excellent teachers share and are inspired by the creativity of human spirit. The Warren Arts and Education Foundation helps maximize the opportunities available to our children”.
